White People this is your Call to Action!

I am writing because I want to make art and I have so many thoughts that I have literally been prescribed to write them out. So here goes;

I had a conversation, it revolved on slavery and the systems that have had to morph into place in response to its legacy.

These systems include:

  • Laws to maintain the environment that was built when slavery was "legally" declared status quo.
  • New communities in response to the end of that system, but also in adjustment to those laws.

These laws include a variety of form of policing. At one point they were explicitly specific to the nature and wellbeing of Black people. However, this is a façade. and has been one. Racism was a distraction for the general economic framework in which varying groups do different tasks, that are just passed down the line (assembled based on teachings of materials to be handled) as new tasks forms.  This is a legacy of how we see the Romans maintained control over what is now referred to as the Middle East. But we need to talk about the Middle East.

What is the Middle East? The Middle East is like... a story book. Picture it with me.

You read (in the west) from left to right. See the following map as so.

Left, Americas, Europe, Africa, Ashia. (haha that was an accident and I'm leaving it).

Alright SO. Africa is in the center of the book. You read it. Life starts there. The first human was found there, blah blah. Next, You look toward the right! What is the Middle East? WHAT was it middle to? I'm not sure. It makes me question how continents were referred to pre Romans.

But alright, we're gonna call it West Asia. Cause that's what it is. So, West Asia is where we see a lot of shit gets started. It has something to do with the Tigris and Euphrates river. Due to their proximity to mountainous areas, I would not be surprised if they're surrounded by fertile lands which just... made the creation and development of life easier to occur. So in West Asia we see major religions birthed. We see major groups of people getting together and saying "lets build this life experience together", and they do. That's what sustaining a religion requires. That's what sustaining laws require. Now granted, the standard of laws definitely varies. Cue the code of Hammurabi. An eye for eye, etc. comes from this. These same concepts ARE taught in the Torah/Bible in earlier pages (I have not read the Torah, but since the Torah includes part of the old Testament I am making correct assumptions), anyways.

So because the Bible (which I also refer to since Christianity is the most practiced religion, though the reader should note that the author is a Southern, Baptist raised person), uses these same concepts, one should note that that means the developers of this religion built on OTHERS that came before them. The reality is that Christianity is not updating or morphing. Correction: it is. The Popes have contributed to such developments but seriously, why are we still giving these people so much power? It's a little interesting that we aren't shutting that down. You don't need a messenger between you and God. Why would God tell you that that white man is more important than you?

Okay so. Let's just get back to America. North America. You have Southern history to consider here.

This identity, because it is adopting the label of a region. Tis essentially just that, Black people thought they were being pointed at because they entered this landscape from a  place of fear (they were literally kidnapped, would you not be scared?) which creates a sense of vulnerability. And it takes HARD WORK to work that out of a person. Which means generations of people have built on that foundation in ways that may have continued to be harmful. Which is why "Black girl magic" and "Black boy joy" and "Men's Mental Health Month" are being so heavily promoted, to contribute to the 400+ year effort that's been occurring to finally work this lovely group of people out of such a state.

But whilst we're doing so, it causes other identities to pop out. Yes, you can be gay. Yes you can explore generating stability for your family but do watch for capitalism, it's a concept not a person. It has no regards for you in reality.

And whilst this is happening, you know who's right there?

White people. Cause them n***** have been there the whole time. Global entities shuffled in both West Africans and Europeans to the Americas. And the Europeans was just as poor! Keep in mind, the ability to generate income was prevented via slavery. And despite that, them mfs still ain't rich. Again, capitalism does not CARE about you because it is a concept. A concept cannot maintain a person or people's well being. It takes INTENTIONAL, constant MONITORING, and SUPPORT in the form of getting in the field to maintain an area.

The United States was not meant to be an individual country. (note the word "state" is used globally in replacement of the word country). So these were countries meant to be by themselves. But I'm guessing Britain did a land grab. Leadership got effed up. The treaty of Westphalia came... they wanted to be stingy? Idk. It was meant to be a recreation of African an Europe and other areas. Yeah, its a big ass land mass, but dammit it's TOO big to be tryna connect everyone. However, by doing so allows room for distraction, on top of other distractions. I'm just so confident those who agreed to merge the states into a country, knew that slavery wouldn't last. I'm confident they knew it would be overwhelming to properly build an educated group of people. And they did it anyway. Because that's what capitalism do. Hamilton had that lil play but baby, eff them people. Cause they ain't work hard enough for me.

Okay okay I need to focus. (I just had a realization, I really want to be a Toni Morrison. But I appreciate an Audre Lorde. and Dammit I'm loving Dany Laferriere right now. I'm torn between morphing my writing to sound like theres, but Laferriere reminds me that I might not need to. I just gotta... get slicker.

And now I'm back hours later to conclude. I don't think white people need to be focused on. I think White People need to be forreal with themselves. And they don't need to do it through the practice of fearmongering. Kwame Nkrumah said Black poeple were going to be required to push against late stage capitalism. And we will. But with identities merging... the southern identity. I need these broke besties to see the role they play properly and act accordingly.
